Summary notes for BT Resellers
- McAfee Security: The BT channel is being asked to help sell more McAfee security across all Broadband orders. It’s simple to add and costs £4.99+VAT per month. McAfee protects computers, phones, and tablets from online threats by monitoring each device individually and preventing harm before it occurs.
- Broadband Connection Charge: Now set at £39.99+VAT.
- Order Types: Applies to NEW, CONVERT, UPGRADE, and RESIGN orders. (RESIGN must be out of contract or within the resign window – refer to the business rules document.)
- Pricing Validity: Current pricing runs until 28th June 2025.
Very important:
- All pricing excludes VAT.
- Remember compliance, never pass your business of as BT - you are an Authorised Supplier of BT.
- Contract term: Please ensure the customer is aware of their contract term (12/24/36/60).
- Customer Advisory: At point of sale, you must inform the customer that they will return to standard pricing at the end of the contract. They can renegotiate during the resign window.
- Solo Broadband Annual Price Increase: From 30th November, solo broadband products will increase by £3/month, applied annually from 1st April. This must be communicated at the point of sale.
- Broadband Bundles Annual Price Increase: From 30th November, all broadband bundle products will increase by £4/month, applied annually from 1st April. This must also be communicated at the point of sale.

| Content Controls and Web Protect | Content Controls block access to selected websites. Web Protect automatically blocks known malicious sites, based on BT Business threat intelligence. |
